Background:

Barbara J. Wendling received an M.A. in Learning Disabilities from Northeastern University and an Administration and Supervisory Certificate from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. She has 15 years of clinical experience as an educator and diagnostician in the public schools. Additionally, she has taught university courses, worked in educational and test publishing, and is currently an educational consultant.

Wendling has been extensively involved in the training and development related to the Woodcock-Johnson III®, the Stanford Binet Intelligence Scales, Fifth Edition, and the Battelle Developmental InventoryTM, Second Edition.

Barbara has co-authored several publications including the WJ III Examiner Training Workbooks, (Riverside Publishing), the Essentials of WJ III Tests of Achievement Assessment (2001), John Wiley & Sons, Inc.; Instructional implications from the WJ III (2003). In Schrank & Flanagan (Eds.) WJ III clinical use and interpretation: Scientist practitioner perspectives.
