Background:

Dr. Marilyn E. Gonyo-Diehl is a Professor of Special Education and the Director of the Graduate Programs in Special Education at Georgian Court College in New Jersey. She received her Ed.D. in Special Education from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She is certified in the state of New Jersey as a School Administrator, Principal, Supervisor, Teacher of the Handicapped, Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant, Teacher of Reading, and Elementary Teacher. Currently, Dr. Gonyo-Diehl teaches the following graduate level courses: Diagnosis and Correction of Learning Disabilities and Practicum in Learning Disabilities, among others. She has conducted numerous workshops on inclusion, assessment, reading/learning disabilities, and multicultural issues and assessment, as well as on the Woodcock-Johnson® -- Revised and the Woodcock-Johnson® III. She has been involved in test standardization and has consulted to several school districts on a variety of assessment issues. Dr. Gonyo-Diehl is a member of several professional associations and a recipient of various awards including Who’s Who in American Education and one of five New Jersey Fellowships.
