Jack A. Naglieri
Jack A. Naglieri is Professor and Director of the Center for Cognitive Development at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. From 1982 to August of 2000, he was Professor of School Psychology and Psychology at Ohio State University. Dr. Naglieri also holds an appointment as a Senior Researcher The Devereux Foundations Institute for Clinical Training and Research. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Psychology from Long Island University, Master of Science from St. Johns University, and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia in 1979. The author of more than 150 scholarly papers, book chapters, books, and tests he has focused his efforts since the late 1970s on reconceptualizing intelligence. Jack A. Naglieri is the author of the of the Cognitive Assessment System (Naglieri & Das, 1997), Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (Naglieri, 1997), General Ability Measure for Adults (Naglieri & Bardos, 1997), Devereux Scales of Mental Disorders (Naglieri, LeBuffe & Pfeiffer, 1994), Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (LeBuffe, & Naglieri, 1999), Devereux Behavior Rating Scale: School Form (Naglieri, LeBuffe & Pfeiffer, 1993), Draw A Person: Quantitative Scoring System (Naglieri, 1988), the Draw A Person: Screening Procedure for Emotional Disturbance (Naglieri, McNeish & Bardos, 1990), the Matrix Analogies Test Expanded Form (Naglieri, 1985), and the Matrix Analogies Test Short Form (Naglieri, 1985). He is co-author of the Das•Naglieri Cognitive Assessment System (Naglieri & Das, 1997).
