Mobile Data Solution (MDS) for Windows®
The BDI-2 Mobile Data Solution for Windows® replaces the BDI-2 Data Buddie Mobile Assistant.
The MDS offers electronic data collection for the Battelle Developmental Inventory, Second Edition (BDI-2) screener and complete assessment, as well as instant access, flexibility, and convenience in gathering information to assess infant, toddler, and child development.
Use the BDI-2 MDS to:
- Eliminate common administration and scoring errors with chronological age calculation and guided administration
- Provide a flexible alternative to paper-based administration
- Increase speed of administration with guided and unguided mode options
- Give instant access to assessment performance information with the Score View and a Report to Family
- Offer full reporting options with secure and reliable upload to BDI-2 Data Manager
- Keep software up-to-date with automatic updates

We offer several different eKit options for the BDI-2 MDS, including the NEW BDI-2 MDS Screener eKit! The BDI-2 Screener eKit is used in conjunction with the BDI-2 Data Manager for a streamlined administration, scoring, and reporting of developmental milestones and kindergarten readiness. In the past, only the BDI-2 MDS Complete eKit was available for purchase. Adding the BDI-2 MDS Screener eKit into the mix provides a common assessment system for all early learning programs from birth to 7 years, 11 months.

Reports
Score View
The BDI-2 Score View provides immediate access to basic scoring information as soon as an assessment is concluded on the BDI-2 Mobile Data Solution.
Report to Family
The BDI-2 Report to Family provides item-level information to assist with communications about test results with a child's family.
