Type: Two distinct, co-normed cognitive and achievement batteries
Purpose: Provides a comprehensive system for measuring general intellectual ability (including bilingual and low verbal), specific cognitive abilities, scholastic aptitude, oral language, and academic achievement.
Ages: 2 to 90+ years
Times: Varies, about 5–10 minutes per test; Cognitive Standard 7 tests (35–45 minutes); Achievement Standard 11 tests (55–65 minutes); Diagnostic Supplement supplies an additional 11 cognitive tests (55–65 minutes)

Background:

Todd Fletcher is an Associate Professor of Special Education in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation and School Psychology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He coordinates the graduate bilingual/multicultural special education program in the department. He provides trainings nationally using a variety of psychoeducational instruments including the WJIII and the Stanford Binet V. Dr. Fletcher coordinated the norming and standardization for the Batería Woodcock Psicoeducativa published in 1982.

Dr. Fletcher has published articles and does workshops on appropriate assessment and instructional practices for Spanish speaking students and English language learners. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and does educational evaluations for bilingual and monolingual students privately. He is a graduate of the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico.
