solution for Windows®! We are holding a contest from July 16 - 31,
2010 and are asking for new product name submissions from educators across the country.
The person with the winning name will receive a choice of the BDI-2 mobile
solution for Windows, estimated retail value of $200, or a $200 Visa®
gift card. There will also be two runner-up winners who will each receive a $50
Visa gift card.

The Battelle Developmental Inventory™, Second Edition (BDI-2)
is an individualized assessment, appropriate for ages birth to seven years, that
may be used for a variety of purposes, including:
- diagnosis
- eligibility
- determination of discrepancies
- reevaluation
- instructional planning

The new BDI-2 mobile solution for Windows eliminates the need for paper
test forms and supports the administration of an early childhood assessment in a
more user-friendly and flexible way than ever before. Not only does this solution
assist you during test administration by making scoring rubrics and material lists
available for each item at the click of a button, but it also allows you to administer
test items in the order that best suits your testing situation.

This solution runs on the Windows operating system, so it can easily be installed
on hardware you already have available - PC, netbook, etc. It also helps you eliminate
common scoring errors by guiding users through test administration with item and
support information at the click of your mouse.

|
|
Once all scoring criteria are met, you have access to basic scores before uploading
to the BDI-2 Data Manager website. After uploading your assessments to
the BDI-2 Data Manager, you can generate individual and/or group reports,
edit data, and create exports.

|
BDI-2 mobile solution for Windows will replace and outpace the BDI-2 Data
Buddie™, which allowed examiners to enter item-level information
directly into any device using Palm® devices.
