The Common Core Standards initiative has gained unprecedented momentum with more and more states signing on to adopt these standards going forward. In order to assist you, we have done some research and are pleased to provide some resources that you can access to get more information on the Common Core Standards.

In order to help you understand what the common core standards mean overall, we are pleased to provide you with a free webinar that will help you deconstruct the requirements into an understandable format.

Presenter Bio

Cori Carr is an educator with more than ten years classroom experience as a teacher, teacher-leader, parent liaison and coach. As an independent consultant and a fellow of the National Writing Project, she has worked with school districts throughout the country in the areas of reading, writing, vocabulary instruction, flexible grouping, standardized test development, formative assessment and integrating technology into the classroom. Cori has worked with many school districts and state departments of education on crafting essential benchmarks and implementing social and emotional learning programs. Cori’s hands-on approach to professional development allows teachers, administrators, curriculum specialists and school support personnel to put their new learning into immediate use in their classrooms and schools.
